 Application Process

​

1.  Contact the school

 

Prospective parents may contact the school by phone or email and view the website for initial information.

 

2.  In-person tours are currently unavailable, but you can set up a virtual tour via Zoom 

          

        To register for a virtual tour:

​

  • Email the school: starcitymontessori@gmail.com and request to set up a virtual tour

  • Virtual tours are available on weekdays at 5:45 p.m. (approximately 30-45 minutes).

  • Once you get a date confirmed for your virtual tour,  you will receive an invite via email to the Zoom meeting on the morning of your tour date. 

  • The enrollment application and parent/student handbook will be emailed to you.​

 

3.  Enrollment

​

If you find the school an excellent fit for you and your family, we ask that you complete the enrollment application and return it accompanied by a non-refundable registration fee of $100

​

If you plan to drop off the enrollment application with a check payment, please use the mailbox labeled “Unit A,” or you may scan the enrollment application via email. 

​

Forms are filed based on the date they are received in the school.  When the school can guarantee an opening, we offer it first come, first serve, in the sequence of returned forms.  

 

**Please note: ​the registration fee also applies to our waitlists. 

 

4.  Acceptance

​

If your child is accepted into our preschool program, you will be sent a formal invitation to join our school family.  You will have five days to respond, and once we receive your confirmation, we will mail you the registration packet.  The enrollment fee of $250 and the first month’s tuition deposit are required to reserve your child’s space. 

 

Please complete the following:

​

  • Registration Packet – Completion of all forms in the Registration Packet.

  • Deposit – The first month’s tuition deposit is required upon entering school.  After all financial obligations have been met, the deposit will be applied to your child’s last month of enrollment.  The deposit amount is adjusted as tuition changes.

 

 

5.  Waiting list Process

 

If a place is not immediately available, you may be placed on our waiting list if the following areas are complete:

  1. A virtual tour 

  2. The non-refundable $100 registration fee is paid

  3. The enrollment application is on file 

 

You will receive a notification of waiting list status when a space becomes available.
